When the consolidation of the Maine Two-Footers came about in 1908, all existing locomotives were renumbered into the new Sandy River & Rangeley lakes RR numbering scheme. SR&RL engine numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 were drawn from F&M No.1, F&M No.2, SR No.1 and P&R No.4, but no records exists that states which engine became which number. It is only known that SR&RL Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 were one of the four locomotives pictured above. (Click on the picture or locomotive number to go straight to the details of the engine.)
