Monson Railroad No.4

The only reason Monson No.4 has a number on its cab side is because the photographer cut one out of white paper and stuck it on there with pin grease - for identification purposes.
He hadn't discovered at the time that No.4 had two stirrups in its cab steps and
No.3 had only one.

Total weight: 36000 lbs.
Disposal: Sold to Ellis Atwood by junkmen in 1945
