The Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes RR is back in operation! A division of the Phillips Historical Society dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the original railroad.

Some of the remaining equipment from the Maine Lilliput railroads can be seen operating at the
Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. and Museum in Portland Maine.

Another great Maine Museum in full swing with some steam operation is the
Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Rwy
