Monson
RR No.3 at Alna at the annual WW&F Museum picnic. Owned by the Maine
Narrow Gauge Museum in Portland, Maine. They had very graciously loaned
the locomotive and crew for this annual fund raising event. The Museums
in Maine all work together towards the common goal of preserving Maine's
railroad heritage.

This
photo of Loco No.9 was taken last fall (1998) at the Alna Shops of the
WW&F Museum. Since the photo was taken the boys have painted over
that horrible orange primer on the boiler. Besides the view of the locomotive,
this photo clearly shows the typical narrow gauge track construction
technique.
