The
F & M only had two locomotives, both were named. No.1, V.B.
Meade, was named after a strong-man backer. Very little is known
about these early engines. When No.1 went to the SR&RL in
1908 it became one of the first four SR&RL locomotives but
no record exists that states which of the four it became.
